Each year, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) compile statistics on the leading causes of death. In 2017, diseases of the heart, such as congestive heart failure (CHF), were the leading cause of death with over 647,457 people affected. Luckily, Mike’s CHF is treatable and as a member of his health care team, you will develop a care plan to ensure that Mike does not succumb to an early death. With the other members of Mike’s care team, use the myStation® PowerPoint presentation to develop a care plan that reviews his information while in the hospital, but will also help him become healthier and possibly reverse some of the effects of Congestive Heart Failure.
